The Princess Margaret benefits from the millions raised by participants in Canada’s largest cycling fundraising event.

 - Today, The Princess Margaret announced that 2850 participants from across North America raised $14 million in The Ride to Conquer Cancer. In its first year, The Ride to Conquer Cancer has emerged as Canada’s largest cycling fundraising event. The Ride inspired 2850 men and women, from 8 Canadian provinces and 16 US states, to become involved in conquering cancer in a bold way.

The Campbell Family Gives Record Support to Princess Margaret Hospital to Create The Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute

 

(Toronto June 3, 2008) - Canada’s leading cancer research centre announced today that a long-term gift of $37.5 million from the Campbell family will be recognized through the creation of The Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute (CFCRI) at Princess Margaret Hospital. The Campbell family’s support over the course of their association with Princess Margaret Hospital now totals $67.5 million, representing the largest cumulative private gift to cancer research in Canada.
